Kinetic and AXA Encourage Consumers to ‘Make a Change that Matters’ with New OOH Campaign

OOH specialist Kinetic has teamed up with  insurance firm AXA to promote its carbon neutral car insurance.

Working closely with media agency Wavemaker, the team has devised a creative Out of Home (OOH) advertising campaign to highlight AXA’s dedication to the environment as a carbon neutral insurance company.

The ‘Make a change that matters’ theme of the campaign is brought to life via the billboard format. Six living native trees are attached and hang from the top of the advert, taking over half of the space on the 48-sheet billboard. To promote this initiative, AXA is running a multi-format roadside campaign, with installations in key locations on Macken Street in Dublin and Belfast City Centre. The campaign is in line with AXA’s carbon offsetting pledge and in support of a greener future.

Ria Bradley, Account Director at Kinetic said: Kinetic is delighted to be working with AXA on this imaginative OOH campaign. This engaging and eye-catching multi-format roadside campaign highlights the creative nature of OOH and its ability to deliver unique, tailored messaging to target audiences. In this case, customers will be able to learn of the great work AXA is doing to be a carbon neutral insurance company.”

The campaign forms a key part of AXA’s climate strategy by raising awareness of key environmental issue, in addition to their work with leading environmental organisations across wind, solar, hydro and biodiversity.

Antoinette McDonald, Customer and Marketing Director at AXA Ireland said: “We are excited to be working on this campaign with the team at Kinetic. There is a huge consumer desire to face the challenges of climate change and we want our drivers to feel protected on the road while having a positive impact on the environment.  This campaign is a great opportunity to show our customers an example of how we can work together to achieve a shared goal and make a change that matters.”
