Barry Sayer, President of FEPE International announced today that the two seats have been taken up on invitation by JCDecaux, represented by Jeremy Male, CEO UK, Northern Europe & Australia and CBS Outdoor International, represented by Antonio Alonso, President and Chief Executive Officer. He also welcomed Jonathan Bevan, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Clear Channel International as the new representative for Clear Channel International.
Sayer commented that membership of FEPE by the largest outdoor companies in the world, which also included but is not limited to active members Cemusa of Spain and Ströer DERG Media of Germany, provided a significant skills and information sharing platform which augured well for the future responsible growth of the outdoor advertising industry worldwide.
Whilst out-of-home companies remain fiercely competitive; in regard to matters concerning the environment, responsible self-regulation, disciplined copy and creative content and aesthetic consideration of the public space were concerned, the outdoor industry encouraged a strong forum for debate and co-operative self-restraint.
