World Out of Home Organization launches NewGen delegate pass for Out of Home industry's young stars

 

For the first time ever The World Out of Home Organization is offering 15 places on the NewGen programme for younger executives under 35 to attend its 2020 Congress in Toronto from June 3-5 at a discounted rate.

The NewGen programme will also include special events at Congress where the chosen delegates can meet Organization board members, key representatives of the worldwide Out of Home industry and enjoy training and networking opportunities. The opportunity is given to members, national associations and sponsors.

USA: OUTFRONT Media awarded long term advertising contract by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority

OUTFRONT Media has announced that it has been awarded the advertising franchise for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority ("WMATA"). OUTFRONT Media has operated the current contract since July 2014.  The new contract will commence July 2020 with an initial 10-year term and two subsequent five-year extensions at WMATA's option.

Australia: Out-of-home advertising rises in 2019 despite a tough market

Revenue for out-of-home increased by 1.5% to $935.5 million on net media revenue for 2019.

The results are up from $921.3 million for 2018. However, the fourth quarter for 2019 was down 2.3% on net media revenue year-on-year, at $269.9 million, compared to $276.3 million during the same period the year prior.
