UK adspend down 39% in Q2

UK adspend rose 2.9% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2020, but the latest Advertising Association/WARC Expenditure Report points to an estimated 39% slump in the second quarter as the impact of the COVID-19 crisis was felt across the industry.


Geopath reports distance travelled is 95% of pre-covid.


Geopath has updated the COVID-19 Mobility Update with data through the week beginning July 13, 2020.  Daily miles travelled is now 95% of the travel occurring the first week of March prior to COVID-19 restrictions.

Last Week's UK Mobility Index was 76.3

Last week’s (w/e 24th July) UK Mobility Index was 76.3% up from 76% (w/e 17th July) versus the lockdown baseline of 100, according to data from our mobile partner Three UK. Overall UK mobility is now just over 76% of 'normal' and still increasing week on week.
