Toronto 2020: EarlyBird ticket offer to close April 1 – social programme revealed

The EarlyBird ticket offer for the forthcoming World Out of Home Organization Global Congress in Toronto closes on April 1st.

EarlyBird tickets are now available for members at €1100 and non-members at €1850. From April 1 to May 18 tickets for members are €1200, non-members €1950. Day delegate tickets are €300.

Tickets include access to the full Congress at the Sheraton Toronto Centre Hotel from May 25-27. This is WOO’s first in-person Congress since Dubai in 2019.

Congress will be open with its customary programme of pre-dinner drinks on Wednesday May 25, full-day Congress on May 26 followed by the Gala Dinner and Awards presentations and a further half-day Congress on May 27. On Friday May 27 there will be the popular informal closing evening social event in the city.

These social events are included in the Accompanying people Congress tickets costing €500 partner. We are also offering a Toronto Tour and on Saturday May 28th there will be a full-day visit to Niagara Falls plus a winery for delegates and partners (both are user-pay).

At Congress there will be a full international speaker programme including key decision-makers from Out of Home, the wider global advertising industry, analysts, and commentators.

Among the issues to be covered are :

  • How OOH is recovering from the global pandemic

  • The rapidly developing role for OOH in a digital world

  • Why programmatic promises a bigger slice of the global media pie

  • The launch of WOO’s updated global guidelines for Audience Measurement

  • OOH and sustainability: how the industry can deliver what advertisers and the world want

There will also be an enlarged Exhibition Programme featuring exciting new developments in technology and measurement, with the opportunity for up to 20 exhibitors to meet leading industry buyers face to face.

WOO President Tom Goddard says: “Our 2022 Congress will be bigger and better than ever. Dubai 2019 set new records for attendance and, after two years off the stage due to the pandemic, we have worked very hard to keep prices down for Toronto to ensure that as many people as possible from the global OOH industry can join us.

“We look forward to welcoming our friends from all around the world to what will be a highly enjoyable opportunity to reconnect with colleagues as well as an important landmark in the history of the worldwide Out of Home industry."
