The World Out of Home Organization has appointed Jorge Sanchez, President of Color Vision, as its new ambassador for Central America & The Caribbean - strengthening the connection between one of the world’s fastest-evolving OOH regions and WOO’s global agenda.
The WOO Ambassador programme was created following a successful experience in China and has since been extended to markets the organisation considers strategic, including Latin America, Africa, South Korea, Japan, MENA, the GCC and Southeast Asia. Ambassadors act as the bridge between their home markets and the global OOH community, which WOO brings together from more than 80 countries.
In his new role, Jorge will serve as the link between Central America & The Caribbean’s OOH ecosystem and WOO - connecting the region’s companies and leaders with the organisation’s forums, research, awards and annual Global Congress, contributing data, content and case studies from the region to WOO’s international channels, and supporting membership growth across Central American markets.
One of the best aspects of working for WOO is alongside local experts who generously give their time and expertise as WOO ambassadors.
This is exactly what Jorge does and I’m absolutely delighted to welcome him as our new ambassador for Central America & The Caribbean.

About Jorge Sanchez

WOO Ambassador · Central America
Jorge Sánchez Montero
President, Color Visión · Founder, Xpancity · Board Member, Fedecámaras de Costa Rica
Jorge leads Color Visión, Costa Rica’s longest-standing and most forward-thinking out of home advertising company, with a presence across Central America and nearly six decades connecting brands with cities. Under his leadership the company has evolved from traditional formats into a new era of intelligent urban communication.
That vision gave rise to Xpancity, a DOOH and smart-city technology company operating in Costa Rica with a presence in Miami, creator of a patented, turnkey intelligent public-information system that integrates outdoor visual communication with smart-city services.
His commitment extends beyond business. During the pandemic he was part of the team behind Somos Uno, a social initiative that delivered food to more than 15,000 Costa Rican families whose incomes were affected. He currently serves as First Board Member (Vocal I) of Fedecámaras, the Federation of Chambers of Costa Rica, where he champions regulatory and institutional strengthening proposals for the country, and he holds Master’s degrees in Marketing from National University (San Diego, California) and in Business from INCAE Business School.
As ALOOH’s representative in Costa Rica, Jorge is also host of ALOOH Day Costa Rica 2026 in San José on 16 July, where he delivers the keynote “The City Speaks” — a look at the future of out of home communication in Latin America.
