Dearden, Founder and CEO of Alight Media and a former President of FEPE International, addressed the topic Retail Media: Reality & Myth. Retail media, he said is a fashionable hot topic – but what does it mean? Is it, on the one hand, just an ad on Amazon? Or, on the other, a poster in a mall? What is the role of data? Where do the ad budgets come from?
This high-growth, fast-moving sector is still being created so this session gave the inside track opinion from an industry expert who is helping to pioneer retail media developments.
